We especially see it for the feast of the Baptism of Christ (Theophany) and less for Pentecost (the symbol is more the flames that descended onto the Apostles). Sorry for being unclear in my post!

Hope that you are feeling well after the birth of your new little one!MamaBirdEmmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08953172914077823820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6212550248931823866.post-17941495629614947912009-06-09T15:33:52.529-04:002009-06-09T15:33:52.529-04:00Those are really lovely- well done! Those are really lovely- well done!Rachael https://www.blogger.com/profile/04546209575452027732noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6212550248931823866.post-47006249107413263052009-06-09T14:27:20.377-04:002009-06-09T14:27:20.377-04:00What a great craft! What a great craft!Pres. I'm Catholics, so I'm very familiar with the dove symbology, but I never knew that the dove wasn't traditional in the Orthodox faith. I love learning about how the Eastern and Western Churches compliment each other.
~BethanyBethany Hudsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12002485534563054176noreply@blogger.com
