Christmas Chocolate...

Look what I found!  We were in our grocery store (which of course is decorated for Christmas already!) and I spotted a display of these chocolate bars!  I bought a few to stick into stockings on Nativity...  though they might make a nice treat of one of Twelve Days of Christmas, too.

Oh wow!!!! I'm going to have to find some of those!! What store was it? (Not that I'm likely to have one here, but just in case someone else is looking too...)

It was Harris Teeter! I hope that you can find them!

Haha, we don't have that here - no surprise there. I'm going to check at our drug stores. I couldn't find this particular one online though. Where did you find the photo? (Or did you take it?)

I took the photo... They seem to be billing them as the "meaning of Christmas" candy bars. I'm going to check a few other shops around here to see if the stock them. I'm curious and also I want to get the word out!

We don't have that store here in Pa but I will be on the hunt for them. So beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

I think this might be someone that you can purchase them: http://www.russellstover.com/jump.jsp?itemID=3190&itemType=PRODUCT&path=1%2C2%2C5%2C217&iProductID=3190

I'm back with another comment :)

It looks like Rite Aid might carry them. Good luck!

Michelle M's link at Russel Stovet is good. They have a 10 oz tin and 2 oz bars, although the pictures look slightly different (but still beautiful).

They are actually having a great sale, the bars are .50, and if you spend $25 shipping is FREE!

Thanks for sharing, Emily. Any little thing (even chocolate) that re-focuses our Christmas is worth it!

Love,
kathi

What a beautiful chocolate bar! I wish we had here (Lithuania) something similar.

I found these last year and oh, what a stir they caused. Some, like myself, were delighted. Others were horrified, the idea of Orthodox icons being printed on something commercially available meant certainly most would end up in the trash.

Such a controversy ensued, I did not get any this year. . . .
