Week of April 10...

1. Purchase new sunglasses... my favorite pair is a $10 Walgreen's buy, but it didn't survive getting stepped on. I'm hoping that I can find the same ones.

2. Plan our first vegetable garden.

3. Start thinking about sandals for the warm weather.

4. Catch up on correspondence.

5. Plan for our Holy Week and Paschal Learning Baskets

Once you have chosen five simple things, post them on your blog and let us know in the comments section. If you do not have a blog, but have a commitment to share, please post them in the comments section.

My sister gave me this tip: try your local Goodwill (or other thrift store) for sunglasses. My regular sunglasses were broken in December, so I bought $10 ones at Target ... and on Christmas Day, my son handed them to me in two pieces. He did the same with the $1 pair from Goodwill in January, but February's $1 pair is nicer than any of the previous ones and still intact. (I also bought a hard case for $1.) The hunt itself was also fun.

Great tip, Magda! We have a Goodwill near us, so stopping in will have to go right onto my agenda!

That's kind of funny, I once sat on my sunglasses on Holy Friday - it seemed rather fitting.

Anyway, what a brilliant idea from Mat. Magda.

Oh, thanks for the inspiration- I will have to think of my 5 although I know finish up Spring Cleaning and spend time outdoors with my son will be among them :)

You have a great space here! Saw the peter and the wolf paper set below- I just saw those on NieNie's blog and was immediately charmed!!!
