I was supposed to go to her wedding today. However, my daughter came down with some illness and also has a fever. Obviously, I am keeping her home. I am so sorry to be missing it. I have been following your blog for months now and was looking forward to meeting you.
I hope the wedding was beautiful and joyous! what an incredibly beautiful church! Love the stars on the ceiling...
Hello! I'm Sara and I'm a new reader and a newbie in the blogging world over at http://sara-savel.blogspot.com Really interested in the Orthodox Church but a bit shy about approaching one. There are two in ur community but they are Greek and Russian, and we are neither. We're Catholic originally but recent issues have distanced us from the Church, but I miss the Sacraments, the ritual, the reverence. I am somewhat familiar with the Divine Liturgy as my Grandpa was Byzantine Catholic. Anyhow, I ramble. :) Thank you for sharing these lovely photos.Sara
That has to be one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen!
Mat Emily. I hope you had a joyful time at the wedding! What a lovely church...I'm so used to our tiny little parish, I'd be worried my crew would be echoing off the walls:)Sara, you will find a lot of us in Orthodoxy have come out of Catholicism, prayers for your journey.
