What happy memories you are making for your precious one...

Every Christmas holiday growing up we watched the Michael Barishnikov version of the Nutcracker on PBS during the pledge drive with my grandmother.

Now that I work in a high school, each year on the last morning before the Christmas Break, the percussion section (drums, marimbas, bells, everything) sets up in the front foyer of the school and play selections from the Nutcracker. It brings tears, thinking of my grandmother and all those precious times.

If you host a nutcracker party, will it be only little girls? Nicholas ADORES nutcrackers, and he seemed to enjoy the ballet when we went last year. I will dress him up fancy with shirt and tie!

(lol, no pressure! ;-) )

Oh, that brings back such lovely memories. I use to read a Angelina Ballerina to my daughter. It seems like yesterday, but it was more than 10 years ago. The days go by so quickly.

just love the picture of your daughter's sweet feet!
