Emily you are an invaluable resource LOL!! Whenever I think, "Hmm what in the world am I going to do with him??" there is a great idea right there on your blog. In fact we are using your weekly themes for our Table Time!!

We LOVE the Oxcart man! I got it out of the library last year and we fell in love with it. I have it out again for next week's harvest theme. And I have it on Ben's Christmas list. And we did Stregna Nona's Harvest last week and LOVED that as well.

Where do you buy your wooden figures? I got Ben and Anna some nativity figures to give them for St. Nicholas Day and I want to get them some animals too.

Thanks!

I am so glad that these baskets are helpful for you Jamie! I love coming up with ideas for them.

Our animals are made by Ostheimer. They are not cheap, but we get one or two for the children for Christmas, Pashca (Easter), or their birthdays. If we get some Christmas money, I occasionally buy a few more. I get them though this company: http://thewoodenwagon.com/woodentoys/ostheimer-farm.html

They have great service and their shipping and handling fees aren't astronomical.

For our Nativity set we have the Mini Nativity figures of Saint Joseph, The Mother of God, and Holy Child. Our goal is to get a few more pieces for it each Saint Nicholas Day.
