Reading...

We finally went to the library after months of not going (bad Mama!) and got lots of great books and signed up for the summer reading club. I kind of doubt that we will be able to attend many of the programs that they are offering, but it is a tradition:) I am reading a great book called A Homemade Life and though I am only a couple of pages into it, I can tell it is going to be a keeper! Victoria Magazine also came in the mail today... We'll need lots to read these next few months! The baby is a big nurser and I see lots of bed and couch time snuggling in our future.

What are you reading?

I've got the new Victoria beside my bed. : ) I've wanted to check out A Homemade Life and keep forgetting.

I'm reading Karen Andreola's Charlotte Mason Companion, a couple Laura Ashely decorating books I got at GW and a book called Your Girl: Raising a Godly Daughter in an Ungodly World by Vicki Courtney. Your Girl is very thought provoking!

I hope you are recovering well and the new little one gets to come home soon! I've been praying for you all. {hugs}

My Victoria Magazine came in the mail today, too. I'm hoping to curl up with a nursing baby and read it this evening.

Matushka, I was so delighted to see A Homemade Life in your pile. I recently checked this book out at our local library and didn't get through very much (I often check out more than I can get to), and am bummed that someone else requested it. Can't wait to get my hands on it again! By the recommendation of several bloggers, I'm currently reading Our Thoughts Determine Our Lives. Happy Reading!

I remember "Tiki Tiki Tembo" from my library as a child!

We're reading Little House on Plum Creek. I'm also looking at Amanda Soule's Handmade Home - again - it is great.

I've missed your blog. Congratulations on your new little boy!

Oh, Victoria is my favorite magazine... I haven't checked the mail today yet, so maybe it is waiting for me!

Right now I am reading a small book about the grand duchess new martyr Elizabeth (my patron) and The Idiot by Dostoevsky.

Nice! I don't think you were a bad Mom for not going to the library! :) You were on bedrest etc! blessings on your weekend!

Now, explain again how you were a bad mom for not floating over to the library with two children while on bedrest...?

I should mention that we haven't been to the Library since before Great Lent! Our libraries aren't really the greatest (both in book selection and in personnel), so that is my excuse! :)
