Autumn Leaf Fairies...

I came across this tutorial for making felt flower fairies and decided to make my own version of Autumn Dollhouse Fairies. Ideally, I'd like to make some for each season... especially since I just found a local source for beautiful wool felt! When I saw the plaids, I was thrilled!! Check out the rest of the WeeFolk Art blog. The author has some fabulous tutorials for things like a wooden autumn forest (*ahem*, Fr John!), a mini pumpkin patch, rolled felt flowers, and felt flower garlands!

I looked at the tutorial last night and was enchanted! Thanks for passing the link on. I think I'm definitely going to give it a try-- the gnomes too!

Hi Emma, these are so cute! BTW, I sent you an e-mail a few weeks back and was wondering if you recieved it? I was hoping you could offer some suggestions on toys for pre-schoolers, since Christmas seems right around the corner!

I absolutely love your choice of colors for your flower fairies. I have them made in colors for every season. I noticed your seasonal shelf. I'm in awe. I've recently started woodworking... so I'm looking at it thinking... hmmm... maybe I could make that! Anyway... adorable flower fairies and delightful blog! I'll be linking to your flower fairies on WFA's FaceBook.

Dear Emma,
These are delightful Autumn fairies. I have loved making different items for each of the seasons.
When it was Autumn here I made an Autumn Leaf shape Doll.
I think it is wonderful that we can all see something and then use that as inspiration for our own ideas.
Blessings

Super cute.

Would you mind sharing your local contact for wool felt, I've been hunting for some. I'm done working w/ the acrylic stuff.

TIA
