The Gifts...

Our little girl is turning two on Monday! We decided to go with a farmhouse theme for gifts this year. We found the house through Willow Toys and the fence on the Quiet Hours Toys website (both of which I highly recommend!). We've been collecting the little animals for about a year now and I made the trees out of pipe cleaners and yarn (I would like to add leaves and blossoms and have one tree for each season). I'll be sure to post more pictures of the birthday festivities as they happen!

P.S. This scene was set up before the birthday girl was awake... and I had a great time playing!

Your farm has turned out very well! I like your plan for the trees. Happy playing!

Of course you enjoyed playing -- what on earth is the sense in giving our daughters dollhouses, if not to play with them ourselves?! ;-) Happy Birthday to Miss Two!

How adorable! I miss these things having with having all boys at home....though I have to admit forts made out of sticks and stones are pretty cool too :)

Many years to your little birthday girl!

How lovely! My 2yr old son would have a "hay day" with that! We love the Schleich animals and have been collecting them for him since his birth. They're so realistic.
Happy Birthday to your girl!

Emma,

I love the trees you have made! How creative! I will have to keep it in mind to make with my children sometime this summer.

Happy birthday to your little one!

Blessings!

How sweet! I'll have to remember that for my little lady's 2nd birthday. My son got an all wooden train set for his 2nd birthday and that is what he plays with all the time! I love the little trees.

May we have a report on two things:

1. How has she like her gift?

2. Are you still doing the no shampoo routine and how's that working?

May God bless you and keep you and make His face to shine upon you... and give you peace.
