After seeing the first two gorgeous photos in Living this month, I wished for the ability (and supplies!) to make candles like that. Since having the skill and money for a hobby like that isn't in the foreseeable future, I put harvest candles out of my mind. Imagine my happiness when we arrived at a mission parish's 5th anniversary party on Sunday and I discovered these little beauties at each plate! I quickly confiscated my husband and daughter's candle and have been enjoying them enormously!

Beautiful--even elegant in a way.
My husband's grandfather makes beeswax candles in lovely shapes. I have several fruit and veggie ones, including a pear. I've never been able to figure out a good way to display them. I'm glad for your ideas!
The Lord supplied a gift that you longed in your heart! Isnt it amazing that when we let go of something in this case the candles, the LORD will then Bless us with our yearnings!
