April 22nd...

It's time for another Commitment to Loveliness! This is a fun way to increase femininity and beauty in our lives each week without even trying! All you have to do is choose five things that you would like to work on or do during the week that will increase the loveliness in your life!

Here is my list for this week:

1. Bake!

2. Take a trip to the library to borrow some Miss Read books.

3. Use Olay Body Thermal Pedicure on tootsies.

4. Plant window box flowers for deck.

5. Search out beautiful and inexpensive baskets to organize baby clothing, baby toys, and various other household odds and ends.

Once you have chosen five simple things, post them on your blog and link to this post in your post, and then post the direct link to your Commitment to Loveliness post below. If you do not have a blog, but have a commitment to share, please post them in the comments section.

Wow! That tube of Thermal Pedicure paste looks wonderful! I think I'll head to the store on my way out today and get some.

I just looked up the "Miss Read" books and they looke lovely! I will have to defintely check them out!

I received some really pretty baskets for my birthday last week -- they make such a difference, don't they?

I also received pedicure things from Bath and Body Works and I think I will delight in a pedicure as well!

Have a great week,

Sherry

I've already done my first three for the week!

1) Clean out refrigerator.
2) Groom eyebrows.
3) Deal with ants in the kitchen.
4) Work diligently on my final semester projects without complaining.
5) Keep house picked up.

In a few weeks I should be able to start more fun things like planter boxes and wardrobe overhaul!

I'm happy to have found this. I've been sort of wallowing in a pity party and slovenly ways lately and I need this inspiration! Thank you.

I am so glad that so many of you have decided to take the Commitment to Loveliness! It is a lot of fun to read what each of you are pledging to do:)

Sarah-
The Olay pedi stuff is great! I am really enjoying it... let me know how you like it!

Sherri-
I was only recently introduced to the Miss Read books by Anna of Pleasantview Schoolhouse... I love the books! I've read two so far and borrowed the remaining four from the library. I have a feeling Amazon is going to be getting a lot of my business!

The baskets have been a huge hit with our family! I love to organize now:)

Enjoy your pedi things!

Dana-
I love the goals you chose for your self this week! I am look forward to reading about what you accomplish with your garden and wardrobe once the semester ends... any chance you'll be starting a blog soon?

Julie-
Thank you for your kind comments! I am so glad the ctl helped you:)
